6/14/06: Hey- We've got some east coast tour dates coming up this July. Go check 'em out here.
Site-wise, I put up some reviews of Pass the Poison right here. You can also buy the record there for just 7 bucks, postage paid. Yep.
Other than that, we're writing songs for a full length that we hope to record late this year or early next.
What else.... shit, that's all I can think of for now. Try to check us out this summer if you can!

4/8/06: Hey there—our new record is finally out!
It’s called “Pass the Poison”, it has 8 songs, and you can buy it for a measly $7 right here. Not convinced? Rather use the money to buy a burrito? Well, listen to some songs from the record here or here -- maybe that will convince you. If not, enjoy your burrito. Jerk.
Cool, that’s all for now. Check out the record and let us know what you think! And look for a tour this July.

2/26/06: Hey- Just wanted to give a quick update on the recording of the EP. So far, it's shaping up to be much darker and more introspective than the demo, as we boldly broaden our musical horizons and stake out exciting new melodic territory.
Just kidding. It's the same old shit pretty much. But so far, it sounds pretty good! We recorded the drums and bass at the Terrarium a couple weeks ago and now we're just adding guitar and vocals at home. We're going back to the Terrarium to mix everything at some point relatively soon. So, look for it to be out at some point in late March or early April, maybe a little bit later depending on how long stuff takes.
Here's the tentative track listing; a couple of the titles might change:
Bender
Uptown Sleep Solution
Sun Belt Scars
In Line
Wide Awake on Lake Street
Columbia Lows
River City Blackout
Plus a hidden song. Well, it won't really be hidden since I'm telling you about it, and it's not very hard to find hidden stuff on a CD anyway. But still. Also, River City Blackout is not the same River City Blackout that was on the demo; we just re-used the title.
Cool, that's all for now

1/14/06: Hey, the t-shirts I mentioned in the last update are now up for sale. You can check 'em out via the "Etc" page over there to the left, or by clicking right here. Also, every order comes with a free sticker or button, and a free fanzine! Fuck yeah. It's just like Fugazi once said: "You are.... what you own". So buy up!
1/10/06: Hey there. Just wanted to give a quick update on some of the stuff we've been up to. Here it is:
We'll be recording a 7 song EP during the first half of February, and putting it out sometime in March. It'll have Uptown Sleep Solution and Columbia Lows from the demo, and five new tunes, some of which you've probably heard if you've caught us live yet. As mentioned previously, it will also have real drums. Yup.
We have t-shirts now , so if you've got money to blow, you should buy one. I'll put up a picture of the design soon, as well a Paypal page. For now, if you want one just shoot us an email (also, we can email you a picture of the shirt first, if you want to be sure you won't look like a complete degenerate in it).
What else... um, we've got a couple shows coming up. Check out the aptly-named Shows page for that.
Cool, that's it for now. More updates soon!

10/9/05: Hey, we've got some shows coming up. Check out the shows page. Yeah.
9/28/05: Alright, finally an update! You might think that because the last update was back in April, we have done nothing in the time since. If this were an infomercial, here I would grin and say “Well, you thought wrong!” And you would swear at your television set, turn the channel, and go back to your bottle of wine.
But this isn’t an infomercial, so stick with me. Here’s a quick rundown of all the shit we’ve been up to since the last update:
--We finally found a second guitar player (Mike) and are now a full, real band. Yep—no more computerized PC drummer nonsense. It’s pretty sweet. We’ve written about 6 new songs, with another 6-10 that are coming along.
If you know of any shows in the mpls area we could get on, shoot us an email. Also, we might try to do a short tour at some point this winter, so get in touch if you can help with that. We’ll probably go down south, but maybe out east.
--Recording: We’ll be recording a 5 or 6 song EP this fall. It’ll have a couple of songs that were also on the demo, but the rest will be new, and the demo songs have been re-worked quite a bit.
After that, hopefully we’ll be able to line up a label, and can then record an LP at some point in early 2006. In the meantime, we might post one of the new songs on purevolume soon. It’ll still have pc drums, but it’ll at least give you an idea of what the new songs sound like.
cool! more updates soon

4/25: Hey there. You've somehow stumbled across the webpage for Banner Pilot, a relatively new punk band out of minneapolis. There's not a whole lot here right now, but it should be loaded with shit within a few weeks, so keep checking back, or just sign up to the mailing list and we'll let you know when there's an update.
That's about fucking it, but I need to fill up the rest of this page. So..... what does the band sound like, you ask? Well, imagine if Jawbreaker and the Lawrence Arms and Alkaline Trio all got in a knife fight and Jawbreaker won, but just barely. That's what we sound like. Does that even make sense? Probably not.
We just finished up an eight song demo-- you can listen to it some of it Here or all of it Here. Or, you just click on the Jukebox to the right and listen to it in the background while you peruse the site.
Yeah. That's all for now! More songs and stuff soon. - Nate
